VK TREVESTA LLC is asking Manatee County government for additional commercial square footage off Buffalo Rd, just south of Badini Way in the undeveloped area. This is the same area they had requested to build a second cell phone tower in 2022, but that application was later withdrawn.
On the submitted narrative, the request is to add an additional 150,000 commercial square footage. The
previous approval granted a maximum of 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial. On the conceptual plan submitted, Commercial Parcel E is a new commercial parcel illustrated along Buffalo Road. On the conceptual, it appears the request is only to add 25,000 sq. ft. of commercial.
We’ll have to wait to see how many square feet they’re actually requesting. This request goes to a public hearing, but the date hasn’t been set yet. If you’d like to share your thoughts on this proposal, you can submit public comment here or contact your County Commissioner.
