A new boutique fitness studio has joined the rapidly expanding commercial corridor, bringing a modern, athletic twist to traditional Reformer Pilates.
BODYBAR Pilates celebrated its grand opening a few weeks ago on Moccasin Wallow Road just west of I-75. The Palmetto studio offers area residents a variety of high-intensity, low-impact workouts designed to build strength and cardiovascular endurance without straining the joints.
The fitness franchise is known for blending core Pilates principles with dynamic, contemporary movements. Rather than a strictly classical approach, BODYBAR utilizes state-of-the-art Balanced Body equipment, including Reformers, Towers and Exo Chairs, to offer a heavily cardio-driven, community-focused workout.
Classes cater to all experience levels, ranging from 40-minute express sessions to 50-minute intense, full-body Reformer workouts. The studio also offers specialized formats like “Jump,” which utilizes a jumpboard for horizontal cardio, and “Classic,” which slows the pace to refine posture and form for beginners.
The studio’s arrival marks another milestone for the developing retail center, which is quickly becoming a local hub for daily services and dining. BODYBAR is located in the same plaza as American Honey Creamery and Coffee Co., which also opened its doors recently to serve the community locally sourced coffee and homemade ice cream.
More businesses are slated to come online in the plaza in the near future as ongoing construction and interior build-outs cross the finish line. The continued commercial expansion aims to serve the booming residential population in the neighborhoods surrounding the Moccasin Wallow corridor.
