Proposed 7-Eleven at 69th St E & US-41
A 4,900 sq. ft. convenience store (7-Eleven) with 16 automotive fueling stations, 2 fueling stations for diesel trucks, and car wash are proposed on 2.95-acres in Palmetto.
Uppy’s Shell gas station is catty-corner to this project and it’ll be interesting to see if this changes how they display their fuel prices. Uppy’s advertises a low price per gallon of fuel on their big sign, but the fine print says you must purchase a car wash to get gas at that price. Without buying a car wash, you pay up to 20-cents a gallon more than the advertised price. Will a new 7-Eleven across the street bring changes to Uppy’s fuel advertising practices? Let us know your thoughts in the comments or on social media.

This proposed project is part of the Gulfcoast Corporate Park and is in accordance with the previously issued General Development Plan (GDP) PDMU-08-15G.
