Both Suncoast Credit Union and Fifth Third Bank recently opened new branches in north Manatee County.
Suncoast Credit Union opened their 5th Manatee County branch on the northeast corner of US-301 and Victory Road in Ellenton. This location was formerly a SouthState Bank, and before that it was occupied by the Manatee River Community Bank.

Fifth Third Bank opened their 11th Manatee County branch off Moccasin Wallow Road near Fort Hamer Road. This is the first bank in the area, serving North River Ranch and everyone off Moccasin Wallow. This is a new build in the Market Walk plaza anchored by Publix. The rest of the plaza is still being developed, with plans for a UPS Store, Papa John’s, Foxtail Coffee, Earthwise Pet, Ann Spa Nails, Yan Kitchen Asian, Heartland Dental, and Massage Luxe.
