A large oversized load is traveling down Moccasin Wallow Road causing long, intermittent road closures. It’s currently at Artisan Lakes Parkway, heading eastbound to US301. Crews are busy raising traffic signals and power lines.
The oversized load won’t fit under Interstate 75, so a temporary bridge has been constructed over the I-75 median, just south of Moccasin Wallow Road for the load to cross.

Tomorrow the massive load will continue east along State Road 62 and north on County Road 39. The Florida Highway Patrol is on scene to guide traffic and enforce detours. For current road closure information, visit fl511.com
