The Jaxx brand is expanding its footprint once again, opening a second location of its wing-focused offshoot, Jaxx Wing Co., in Palmetto.
The new restaurant, which opened on Dec. 19, 2025, at 4927 96th St. E. in The Shoppes at Moccasin Wallow, is the second Jaxx Wing Co. location. The first is located in Bradenton at 316 12th St. W. Both locations share the same menu, which features wings, burgers, and other popular bar foods, including the Jaxx-Fil-A chicken sandwich, a version of the beloved Chick-fil-A sandwich.
This new location replaces Gianni’s Pizza Express, which closed earlier this year. We first reported on Jaxx Wing Co.’s plans to take over the Gianni’s space in October 2025. The location is designed as a smaller, fast-casual spot with limited seating and an emphasis on takeout.
While the Palmetto location is open for business, it is awaiting approval of its beer and wine license. Until then, customers are allowed to bring drinks from Corporate Ladder Brewing Co., located next door.
The restaurant’s website, which is set to launch next week, offers a menu online identical to jaxxwingco.com, but currently all orders must be placed by phone at 941-479-4700 or in-person.
Jaxx Wing Co
Jaxx Wing Co. in Palmetto follows the success of Jaxx Sportsbar & Grill, a local favorite known for its sports-centric atmosphere and community involvement. The brand’s original location near the Palmetto Walmart has been a staple for sports fans, with numerous TVs and a welcoming vibe. After Hurricane Milton hit in 2024, Jaxx was one of the few businesses that stayed open, offering meals and a place for residents to gather during the recovery process.
With this new location, Jaxx Wing Co. continues its growth, providing the same fan-favorite menu to an expanding community in north Manatee County.
