Tenants Revealed for New Plaza at Moccasin Wallow & I-75

The building shell is complete for a new retail and medical plaza near the intersection of Moccasin Wallow Road and Interstate 75, revealing an updated layout that differs from early site plans for the North River area development.

Oklahoma City-based developer Ashton Gray Real Estate has finished the exterior structure and construction crews are shifting focus to the interior build-out for a diverse tenant lineup including local eateries, national franchises and medical providers.

The physical construction has clarified details that previous reports had inverted. While early information suggested American Honey Creamery and Coffee Co. would anchor the east end of the building, the completed shell places the popular local favorite on the west end of the plaza.

Currently located across the street at 4919 96th St. E., American Honey is preparing to move its operations to this new unit. The relocation features a confirmed drive-through lane to speed up service for commuters.

The structure also casts doubt on earlier expectations for a second drive-through at the plaza. Original plans indicated a drive-through for a future restaurant on the opposite side of the building. However, the current build shows no indication of a lane on the east end. That space features a patio area and remains designated for a restaurant concept that has not yet been announced.

Joining the food and beverage lineup is Ziki Sushi and Grill, bringing a new dining option to the center alongside the creamery and the future patio restaurant.

The plaza also features a mix of personal service and fitness tenants. BODYBAR Pilates will open a new studio owned by Jessica Eldredge. The reformer-based pilates brand operates in 20 states and has an existing presence in Manatee County near I-75 and State Road 64. This will be the franchise’s second location in the county.

The Dream Barbershop is also expanding its footprint to the plaza from its current location at 8259 U.S. 301 N. in Parrish.
